Make sure that you buy the size that is slightly larger than the width of your ski where the ski crampon attaches just behind the binding toepiece.  If the ski crampons are 10mm to 15mm wider than the waist of your ski, then they will still work just fine in most all conditions. Don’t stress about it, get some ski crampons. Save yourself a lot of energy and effort on the way up.
