Our Return Commitment
We understand that outdoor gear needs to perform when it counts. If any item doesn’t meet your standards, we’ll make it right—just as we’d adjust our hiking poles for the perfect fit.
- Return Window: 15 days from delivery date
- Condition: Unused with original tags and packaging
- Exceptions: Avalanche safety equipment (beacons/shovels/probes) and climbing protection gear for safety reasons
- Processing Time: 3-5 business days after we receive your return
Step-by-Step Return Process
- Initiate Your Return: Email us at [email protected] with your order number and reason for return within 15 days of delivery.
- Wait for Authorization: Our gear specialists will respond within 24 hours with return instructions and an RMA number.
- Package Securely: Repack items in original packaging with all tags attached. Include the RMA number clearly on the outside.
- Ship Your Return: Send to: Wild Trek Store Returns, 4094 Snider Street, Colorado Springs, CO 80903, USA. We recommend using a trackable shipping method.
Exchange Process
Need a different size tent or climbing harness? Follow the same steps as returns, but specify “EXCHANGE” in your email and include the replacement item details.
Refund Information
Once we receive and inspect your return:
- Timing: Refunds process within 3-5 business days
- Method: Original payment method (credit cards/PayPal)
- Shipping Costs: Original shipping fees are non-refundable

Non-Returnable Items
For safety reasons, we cannot accept returns on:
- Avalanche transceivers, shovels, and probes
- Climbing protection equipment (cams, nuts, etc.)
- Opened camp kitchen fuel canisters
- Personalized or custom-ordered items
International Returns
Global adventurers outside the U.S.:
- You’re responsible for return shipping costs
- Mark the package as “Returned Goods” to avoid customs fees
- Refunds will exclude original shipping and any import taxes
